12:00pm - 1:30pm ages 13 - 18
Minimum of 4 in each class or will be combined.
$85 per student
(receive theatre bag and $7 off Hullabaloo shirt)
Showcase for family & friends is last Saturday - time tbd.

Nuttiest, Wackiest, Funniest Comedy Skits & Melodrama
Saturdays: January 11, 18, 25, February 1, 8
​
Increase stage presence and comedic timing with some of the wackiest skits ever. Some use dialog and some are pantomine. Use wide open movements and exaggerated gestures to give character and added humor. Comedy helps loosen up a student's inhibitions and gives them permission to have fun with the learning process.

"Wolf Tale Blues" - ages 5 - 8
**Week long: March 3 - 8 5:30 - 7:00pm
​
Ages 5 - 8 will present a hilarious spoof of a favorite collection of fairy tales,
featuring a blues singing wolf.
Characters: 3 Pigs, Red Riding Hood, Granny, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, & others

Monologues , Public Speaking, & Dialogues in Skits
Saturdays: March 15, 22, 29, April 5, 12
​
Learn comedy & drama monologues to use in auditions, have fun dialogue-ing with a partner, & get more comfortable in front of people, practice stage presenceI

"Winnie the Pooh" play - ages 5-8
**Weeklong: May 5 - 10 5:30 - 7:00pm
​
Learn acting through the wonderful characters of Winnie the Pooh.
Present a play at the end of 5 classes with costumes, props, set, lights.

Improvisation Games
​Saturdays: May 17, 24, 31, June 7, 14
​
Learn to create spontaneous dialogue in creating a scene. Learn the guidelines in creating improvisation. This is a fun way to explore the abilities of one's self. Improv & games is a very popular workshop where anything goes in a non-threatening atmosphere.

This July be part of The Wizard of Oz drama camp.
Auditions/Sign ups are June 24 & 25 at 5:30pm. Camp is July 7 - 20

​​Be a Triple Threat - Sing, Dance, Act​
Saturdays: September 9, 13, 20, 27, October 4
​
Learn a song to perform, a dance to perform, a scene to perform for the final showcase and to use in the future. Each class will be designated to one art form at a time.

Create Stand-Up Comedy
Saturdays: November 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
​
Want to be a stand-up comedian? Learn the guidelines in creating stand-up then put your routine together. Master class included on November 29 with professional comedians before you present your act in front of an audience.
